Gethsemane: Seattle's Garden of Hope, Project Overview |

Gethsemane Lutheran Church has formed partnerships with key Seattle human service organizations and is proceeding with plans for a $20 million construction and renovation project. Ground breaking is set for January 2011, with completion in early 2012. |

This $20 million project includes: |

Kindred Center, renovated worship, office, and gathering spaces for the congregation, and the inviting garden and chapel serving the community and congregation. |

Hope Center, a partnership between Gethsemane and Mary’s Place, occupying 10,000 sq ft for services to homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families |

 |
Compass Housing Alliance Center, five stories above the north side of the church, with 50 affordable housing apartments, including 10 for currently homeless, 10 for persons with disabilities |
