Come and help prepare and serve soup and sandwiches to the homeless. We serve 120 homeless every Saturday morning September through May.
Meet new people and start new friendships while helping the community. Just come to the back door by the parking lot around 9:30 a.m. and ring the door bell. Tell them you're there to volunteer! |

Gethsemane Community Services (GCS)

Mail Volunteers- Gethsemane Lutheran Church provides a mailing address for those who don't have one. This means that there is sometimes quite a stack of mail with the postal carrier. We are seeking volunteers to help sort the mail. Sorting usually takes about an hour and needs to be done daily or every other day and entails alphabitizing the mail and placing it into assigned slots. This could be done at anytime with the highest priority days being Tuesday & Thursday. |
